How do you make hot chocolate?

I mean from scratch--not from a powder.

Combine 2 1oz squares unsweetened chocolate, 1/4 cup sugar, dash salt,1 cup water in a saucepan. Stir over low heat until melted. Stir in 4 cups milk to boil.

For 1 generous serving - mix 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of Hershey's Cocoa in a cup. Microwave 1 cup of milk 1-1 1/2 minutes. Slowly add milk to cocoa mixture stirring constantly. Add dash of vanilla while hot. Delicious!

My great grandmother's recipe was to get good quality chocolate and melt it in heavy cream. Watch carefully because it burns easily. Then pour half a cup of it into a mug and add milk to cut the richness of the cream a little. Mind you, this is probably NOT for those on any kind of diet.

use unsweetend coca sugar and milk add hot water till you get your desired taste or you can melt down chocolate and add warm milk to desired taste
