Start by applying a generous amount of penetrating oil. Allow it to soak in for awhile then try to loosen it up again. Apply some more then try again. You may also try heating the fitting if there are no flammable substances around. Just be very careful.

I would use penetrating oil or wd40. Spray the oil on the rusted fitting, and let it sit for about twenty minutes. Then attempt to get them off.

Using a small propane torch has assisted me remove many rusted elements of my vehicles. Check to make sure that the fluid is not flammable however. Heating the tight fitting in small bursts, and then loosening it right after should help free it.

The best thing to do is spray it with a liberal amount of penetrating oil. The longer you let it set the easier it should break free.

The best thing for stuck fasteners is to soak it with penetrating oil. The let them set for a few hour then try to loosen again or spray it again.
