First take out the inside part of the window, after you have done that put the blinds on place. Close the inside side of the window.

These are traditionally factory made and installed as windows. If this is DIY, install one window permanently. Install the blind. Install a small wooden ridge all the way around the opening. Install gasket. Install second window glass with mirror mounts (so that you can easily remove it when needed.
