Shut off electricity. Turn the light switch on to make sure there is no power. Remove old light fixture. Twist the new fixture wire to the black on black wire and the white on white wires. Screw the electrical caps on the wires. Hang your fixture. Turn electricity back on.

If you have bathroom outlets/receptacles, they NEED to be ground-fault (GFCI) protected. Refer to the NEC (National Electrical Code) and your local building codes. Most bathrooms have lights & receptacles on both sides of the vanity mirror; so you need to run armored or double-insulated wire to one side and over or behind the mirror-cabinet over to the other side.

If you can wire the electricity yourself, simply add a new line from your breaker box to the bathroom, or hire an electrician to do it for you. Pick your lights to add and use the mounting hardware it comes with. Always attempt to drill the light mounts into an existing stud in your walls.
