The mice come out at night when you're sleeping. Buying some good ole fashion mousetraps or the sticky kind that keeps them alive and put cheese or chocolate as the bait.

You should use a trap with a bait to lure the mice in to it. The trap should consist of a cage which is closed upon entering of a mouse. The trap can capture several nice. You can also use a standard wooden snap trap. However, the bait may be consumed by other hungry mice.

There is no free way to do it. You are going to have to call an exterminator. They have all the equipment to flush mice out of just about anywhere.
