This will depend on the type of felony charge and the state in which the crime was committed. There are some types of felony that are not eligible for expunction.

The individual should go to the website for the county in which he or she resides. Search for a felony expungement form. Once completed it should be submitted to the county court. An email will be sent telling the individual the court date. The judge will require an explanation of why the offense should be expunged.

Some felony's can not be expunged. This depends on the severity of the crime, time since the crime has been committed, and weather or not you are on probation. Repeat offenders and violent criminals have less of a chance to expunge. Either way, you can start by hiring a lawyer.

If it was an adult conviction, it is with you for life. The only way to get rid of it is to have the conviction overturned in court or be pardoned by the president. Juvenile records can be sealed.

You can't really get it expelled. It will stay on your record for life depending on if you were innocent or not.
