When searching my brother, I found Google as an effective means of finding information on his whereabouts. I googled his name, his age, and his possible location. There are also many sites that claim that they can help you locate lost relatives; however, they usually require payment for information that you could find yourself using Google, or the Yellow Pages.

The first choice is to search public record databases, such as property records, death indexes, and criminal record searches. These records are updated annually and thus have recent information on where the person lives and their activities.
