how do you disable quickfind application in Firefox?

If I were you I would contact firefox and see if they can run a dignostics to make sure that is truly what you need to do. Then have them take you through the process step by step anything having to do with the web will have an online live chat help center.

first start the firefox web browsing application. secondly in the top menu bar there is a button that says tools. From the "tools" drop down menu select add the box you need to scroll until you see the quickfind add-on. one it has been found you may select it and choose to either disable or uninstall it.

You need to go to the firefox homepage then go to contacts and email them asking them how to disable it and they will email you back with the solution.

To disable this feature, open up a new window in Firefox. Type "about:config" in the web address and go to the site. This will allow you to modify the settings inside your Firefox installation. In here, find the line that says searchkeys.disable.all and change the setting from false to true.
