How do you determine the values of cars from the 1940's?

The overall condition of the vehicle is paramount as is with all collectibles. Having original parts is where the value will truly soar.

The value of cars in the 1940s depends primarily on three things. Amount of rust and work required to get them back on the road, Engine size and other factory options (a/c, 2 or 4 barrel carburetor, ect) and finally body style (2 door or 4 door, hard top or convertible, ect)

Well most collector car can either priced at recorded market prices or are appraisal by a professional. You can get a rough idea of value by see what a similar car has sold for at an auction. Otherwise consult a car expert to appraise it for you.

this is how you can determine the value of cars in the 1940's. if there is nothing wrong with the car at all it is vintage that means its worth a lot. if it also has original parts
