How do you deal with an angry spouse?

My spouse has issues with controlling his anger, I am afraid that his outburst are hurting the children.

Explain to your spouse that you are afraid of the affects his anger has on the kids. It's important to make him understand that you are there for him to talk out the core issues behind his anger. Try a code word to indicate when he's getting out of hand.

Anger is the bottom line for all the problems. If your spouse gets angry on things he don't want you to do then stop and try to avoid those things which he don't likes. Secondly when he is angry then say to him your right in natural way and leave the room. Or offer him a glass of water. cheers.

It sounds like he could possibly be Bi-polar. If he's doing this so much that you're worried I would either get him help or get the kids out of there.
