How do you clear the memory from a fax machine?

I pre-programed several faxes for my fax machine and need to clear them as the numbers were wrong.

Depending on the fax machine they clear in different ways. The most common fax machines including all Brother Faxes will have the option in the main menu screen. It is usually called format or delete data.

If you cannot figure out how to delete the numbers in your fax machine, you can unplug the unit from the wall, and leave it disconnected for five minutes. Consult your owners manual as to the whereabouts of a backup battery, which saves information such as time/date/numbers/etc. Removing this battery and putting it back in will clear the memory entirely.

It depends on what type of fax machine you have. i have a fax/printer combo, so if I recall correctly i just hit clear on the last item that I faxed. there should be a clear button on your machine. You can also check the product manual.

To clear the memory from a fax machine you can choose the option of battery backup which contains the details of number and you can clear and fit it back.
