Tulip magnolias are generally pretty hardy, but they'll do best in full sunlight (partial shade may be OK) and in a rich, acidic soil.

Also known as tulip tree and saucer magnolia, birds and butterflies love this tree. It thrives in a sun to partial-shade setting and produces blooms in mid-spring. Water regularly, but do not overwater, and add Miracle Gro sometimes for an extra boost, and prune to keep under 20'. It's a favorite with kids as it provides easy climbing!

This tree loves a warm climate. Although the tree can grow to 30 feet, it is recommended that it be trimmed to keep it around 20 feet. It grows best in moist soil with good drainage. You rarly need to fertilize.

Well basically your going to want to exercise a lot of precaution for caring for a tulip magnolia. What you want to do is put some fertilizer into the soil and then make sure that it grows. You want to make sure you also water it daily and often so it grows.
