You will have to use some sort of anchor. Commonly, people use what is called a ram set. Simply it is a tool that has a. 22 shell in it that when tapped shoots through the wood and into the concrete securing the trim. They are very effective, and I have seen them used many times.

There are two ways in which to attach baseboard to concrete. The first is to glue it on with a heavy-duty construction glue such as liquid nails. This is the simplest. The other way is to use concrete anchors, but this requires drilling holes and you have to fill them.

There are a few ways of attaching baseboard to concrete. The best way would be to attach the baseboard with a multi purpose adhesive. Make sure the adhesive is compatable with both surfaces.
