You need to ensure the wall is free of dust and all marks. Give it a wipe with a damp cloth or some soap for stubborn marks. Then sand the wall lightly with fine sandpaper if you want to keep the paint colour underneath. Make sure the wall is completely dry before painting the glaze.

Well make sure the surface is completely dry. Then you can pour some glaze over the paint and then work from side to side. Make sure the paint brush never touches the paint but stays on the glaze itself.

Applying a glaze over flat paint is really simple. You just appy it, there really is no prep work, if it were a gloss or semi-gloss based paint then you would need to sand it down.

First be sure that you are using a clear glaze that will not harm the color. After that, make sure the wall is clean and free of dust. Then, apply!
