Patients that are diagnosed with Alzheimer's lack efficient calcium binding proteins which are essential to the maintenance and growth of the nerve cells. In Jelly fish, calcium binding proteins can be found to reduce the pain and symptoms of the disease by providing the sufficient supplement that is needed for the growth and functioning of nerve cells.

Jellyfish proteins may be able to replace protiens that are missing in the brains of dementia patients including those of people with Alzheimer's specifically. The animal studies look good and the researchers have a lot of hope that this understanding of jellyfish may lead to preventing the loss of protiens that causes dementia in the first place.

You will need to ask your doctor about that. They would know best what would help with it. Always ask your doctor these questions.
