Keep burned lips moisturized with lip balm or a thin layer of Vaseline. Refrain from licking your lips and keep them moist or they will become dry and cracked which is painful.

It depends on how they were burned. A sunburn can be treated with lip balm. Any severe facial burns should be treated by a doctor to lessen the chance of scarring. Also, burns anywhere about the head can be serious.

Several things must be considered here, how bad is the burn? How long ago was the burn received? Will they be exposed to the sun in the next 2 hours? If it not that bad just chapped then keep them hydrated. If it is worse than that see a doctor.

Applying a cream that has aloe and Vitamin E is a good idea only if the burn is first degree. Otherwise, see a doctor.

For only a mild burn, I would recommend purchasing vitamin E oil. Liberally coat and rub into the burned area several times a day.

Most doctors say that any burns on the head, especially on the face, need medical attention. If your lips are sunburned, just apply a lip moisturizer to them. The lips are a sensitive area and they will probably get sore. For bad lip burns, please see your doctor to avoid problems.
