First you will need to insert that memory card into your PS2 with no games in the machine. This will bring up a menu when you turn on the machine. Go to the memory card section and select it. This will give you the option of formatting your memory card. If you want to erase all the data, select it.

When you start up your PS2, select "Browser". Then you will see a memory icon. Select that. You will then see and delete anything on your card.

Make sure that you don't have any games in the PS2. Put your memory card in and turn on your PS2. Select your memory card when it comes up, and it will let you delete information off of it.

The easiest way to clear a memory card is to turn your PS2 on without a game inserted then click on the memory card logo and delete each file.
