The most important part is finding the right socket, extension, wobble, and socket. Then simply place over the tensioner and loosen the tensioner by applying pressure ina counter clockwise direction. Pay attention to any spacers on it or the engine and place them in the same spots as the original.

The first step is to remove the belt, then locate the tensioner. You will have to remove spacers to access it, so make sure you replace them in the same way when finished. If the idler pulley broke, you may not have to remove more than two spacers. Keep an eye on the angle you install it at, too.

You need to remove the belt completely first. If the idler broke that shouldn't be a problem. There are two screws/bolts holding the idler on; remove them and replace.

To remove you will need to loosen and remove the belt. Remove bolts holding idler pulley, usually 2 depending on model. Attach new pulley in reverse order, and attach belt.
