Carefully melt 10 oz of chocolate, and add enough corn syrup until it can be made into a ball. Spread onto plastic until it is about 1/2 inch thick, and allow to cool. Cut into smaller pieces, depending on what you are making, and knead with your hands. When smooth, form into whatever your heart desires!

Use 7 ounces of chocolate and 1/4 cup of corn syrup. Using a double boiler or a metal bowl set over simmering water, melt the chocolate. Stir the chocolate and cool slightly, then thoroughly stir in the corn syrup (this will cause the mixture to stiffen). Refrigerate for one to two hours, until firm but easy to use.

Heat 7 ounces of your chosen chocolate slowly over a double boiler while stirring. When it is melted and smooth stir in 1/4 cup of corn syrup. Stir together until thoroughly mixed and let cool. Transfer to a heavy plastic bag and refrigerate for 2 hours. Then take it out and knead until pliable. Shape as you wish.
