How do I make homemade sherbet?

Answer by  sunflower249 (338)

Make or buy fruit juice, sweeten it (cold things taste less sweet), and freeze. Take it out and whip it every 2-3 hours until frozen. That's it!

Lemon sherbet Finely grate rind (1lemon) and mix with 1 cup sugar. Add 3 - 4 cups milk/yoghurt or water, 3 -4 squeezed lemons. Put into freezer. Using milk, water or yoghurt depends on the result you want. You can use any fruit, but cut down or out water if using 'wet fruit'. Try adding fruit juice instead of water.

Homemade sherbet requires juice for whatever flavor you're looking to make. Some cold water, heavy cream, some honey and pure vanilla extract. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and mix, then you freeze.
