How do I know that I will hit water while digging a pond?

You don't, and most likely won't hit water. In most cases you will want to site the pond where you desire and then purchase and install a liner and pump.

Well you won't know unless you actually dig the pond yourself and there is no guarantee of hitting water. The water may have just all dried up due to weather conditions a while back.

You likely will not hit water by digging. If you want a pond in your yard, you will provide water, along with a plastic liner. Visit your local home improvement.

You will almost certainly not hit water, You will need to dig a hole and line it with pond liner and then fill it with water from a garden hose.

Normally a pond fills from the rain water. It is important that your pond will hold water. Talk to the individual putting in you pond to put in clay.

it is depend upon the level of water in the pond also the amount of water digging by you. dont try like this happenings
