It is important to have it examined by a doctor to make sure there are no small bones or cartilage involved. For this reason and post care, it is highly recommended that a person should never remove one him or herself. .

If you have skin tags you can get them burned off. It's not really safe to do yourself- you need to see a doctor.

You can. They aren't packed full of nerve endings, and although a doctor would recommend you see a specialist, you can just cut them off.

You can cut or freeze small ones off with a sterilized knife or a wart freezing kit. However, it is probably safest to ask a doctor to remove them.
