Well all you need is the appropriate cable and simply hook it up. Look online for the proper one for your monitor. Just not you will have to hook an audio source to a stereo or something unless your monitor has speaker and the cable transfers audio signal.

The easiest way is to purchase the X2VGA2. You will need the X2VGA2 box, and a Playstation video cable that supports RGB, which can be found at Gamestop and the like. The X2VGA2 converts RGB to VGA!

In order to accomplish this you will need something called a composite video connector, once you obtain one of these you should have no problems hooking the Playstation 2 up directly to your monitor in question, If this doesnt work there are a few other options potentially available to you.

Well unless you have a monitor that has inputs for RCA cables then you will need some type of third part cable. Look around online to see if anybody sells a cord to do this.

Unless you utilize third-party cables, you will need a PC monitor that allows the use of the PS2's standard component cables, or with a coaxial port if you use an RF adapter with your PS2.
