Click 'Start,' select 'Run.' Type 'clipbrd' and hit 'OK.' Go to 'Edit' and click 'Delete.' Then you can close the Clipboard Viewer. Alternatively, type a space: " " (without the quotes), select it, and copy it.

Type Clipbrd into the run prompt, hit OK. This will launch the clipboard viewer. Select Edit then select delete. THis will allow you to clear the contents of the clipboard. Restarting the computer will also do the same thing, and copying something new will replace the old copied files as well.

There is program on windows XP, called ClipBook Viewer. You access it by pressing "start" button, then "run...", and when small window appears, write "Clipbrd" in the textbox and press ok. ClipBook Viewer shows contents of your clipboard. Press "edit" on tool-bar and choose delete. Fastest way to overwrite your clipboard is to press "prnt scr" on your keyboard.
