How do I build a brooder for parakeets?

You will need Cord, Dish, Product-Packing Box, a 3 wavelength 20w lightbulb, newspaper and a socket. Open the box and make a hole for the light bulb, put the lightbulb through the hole and faten it to the socket. Cover the bottom with newspaper add water to the little dish. A day after the chick hatches place in the box.

set them a plastic bin and have a heat pad,termometer underneith the plastic bin. stays at the ideal 80 to 85 degree decrease this temp. when babies get older regulate their temp.

Open the box and make a hole. Insert the screw in the hole. Cover the bottom with newspaper, place the dish in corner and add a little water.

make a box out of wood that is just big enough for the parakeets to turn around in and sit down. they dont move much while brooding. be sure to put straw and other nesting materials in the box.

Prepare a card box made of some plastic or hard paper, give some light thro' bulb. Make a whole for the spices. Keep the board on gradual hit.
