How do I adjust my automotive belt tension gauge?

I need to adjust my automotive belt tension gauge.

Yes, you should refer to your owners manual. The tension is actually very easy. All you have to do is find the place to adjust it. Usually its a wrench operated process. The Belt just needs to be UN tightened, then you wont have a loud squeak when the wheel turns.

That has to be done by either a garage or a dealership to be considered proper otherwise there is no way of knowing you have it calibrated the correct way. They have a maching they put them on when they do it you can also do a net search for more information.

I have a 2005 Dodge Durango and one of the belts appears to be loose. I want to find out how to adjust this belt and tighten it to prevent further problems.
