How difficult is the drip when driving in Italy from Rome to Amalfi?

The drive is about 290 kilometers, with about 35 turns to make on the trip. It will take about 3 hours non-stop and there are 3 toll roads.

It's about 140 miles or 225 km between the two. There's a large highway that connects them -- the A1 or E45 -- so that makes driving a bit easier than if you had to take smaller roads.

It is pretty difficult. You have to be able to go through the bumpy roads and not to mention the long hour drives.

Driving in Italy is rough. They are aggressive drivers and their concept of sufficient space between vehicles is surprisingly small to the average American driver. It's doable. Just a little harder than driving in the US.

It is not so difficult to drive from Rome to Amalfi but it is easier if one is able to stay out of the centers of the congested bigger cities.

I should say not to hard. since driving from Italy to Rome, you wull see a lot ofamalfi. interesting places ruins, and driving thru' the coast of Amalfi might not be boring. an expert driver will find it interesting and a challenge to \drive the streets of Italy, rome finally
