Overuse of dextromethorphan can easily be surpressed by adding a few drops of feverfew. Feverfew is often used to help ween alcoholics off of alcohol. Feverfew can be found at any health food store.

Dextromethorphan is basically cough medicine, its also known as DMX, Robo,Triple Cs, Skittles, and Red Hots among other things. DMX abuse is somewhat common with supposedly 1 in ten teens having abused the drug. Because DMx is so easy to obtain, the risks of abuse are sure to increase. Curing the addiction is fairly simple as its non-addictive.

As dextromethorphan is an over-the-counter antitussive opioid, abuse is quite common. Its effects are less severe but comparable to heroin and are countered in the same way: naloxon and naltrexon.
