How can you fix a dish that has too much pepper on it?

It depends on what the dish is. If the pepper is on top of a dish, such as fish or steak then you can simply rub some of it off with a napkin. If the pepper is contained within the dish, such as a pot of soup, the only thing you can do is add more broth to counteract the pepper taste.

If you just added the pepper and didn't mix it in, you can spoon it out. If you mixed it in, try and increase the recipe.
