Any legal activity concerning individuals is considered public records. There is usually a notice placed in the newspapers each week. You can also call the police station and give the persons name and they will give you that information also.

An individual can check with the police department about outstanding warrants, or phone a bail bondsman, who can check on his behalf. You can also use an online court records/public records database, most of which charge a fee, either per search or for a membership.

You can hire an attorney to help determine if there is a warrant out for your arrest. If you do not wish to or are unable to pay for an attorney, you can go down to the court house to see if there is an existing warrant for your arrest. Finally you can wait to be picked up by officers.
