How can I troubleshoot my Cub Cadet riding mower that will crank but won't start up?

My first thought is check the spark plugs and then the fuel line. It is either not getting a spark or no fuel going to the engine. Cub Cadet has a site with troubleshooting as well.

I am not familiar with the brand but I would make sure all the wires are in the proper place and connected properly. Make sure the battery is charged.

Choke the mower fully, add some fuel stabilizer, and try again. If not, connect it to a cranking battery charger to jump your battery. This should fix any problems you have.

You might have to take the mower into have it fixed. They will know how to fix the mower. Or you can get a book on the mower and fix it yourself.
