Try to think of him as a person just like yourself. Everyone has a story, you never know what he may be going through. Think about how hating him makes you feel. Forgiving and letting go will make you feel accomplished, empowered and liberated. You don't have to like him, but hate builds on itself and becomes uglier over time.

The best way it to do your best to ignore them. Do not go the places they go, or even talk to them. If this is not a realizable approach, you can try to get to know them better.

I suggest that you pray and ask God for forgiveness in your heart for that person and to be able to see past the wrong that they have done to you. Then you have to believe that God has delivered your request and accept that it is so.

That's tough. The first step is realizing what it is specifically about them that you hate, then you need to decide consciously if that is something worth hating them for.
