How can I safely get rid of ants in a childs bedroom?

I recommend getting the enclosed ant bait traps that can be hidden under furniture and out of reach. I used them and they have been very effective for my household, and safe for my pets. Raid sells them, or I'm sure you would be able to find an off brand as well.

Ant leave a scent trail that brings them back to the same place, elimanate that trail by cleaning, scrubbing the area you are seeing them, No dirty dishes in the room, and sprinkle corn meal outside the foundation. They will eat it but cannot digest it and will die.

We had the same problem last summer in my daughter's room. We purchased Home Defense Max at wal-mart(used as directed)and haven't seen any ants since.
