How can I recognize a tree lizard?

Tree lizards range up to 2. 5 inches long and can be black, brown, tan, or gray colored. It's ground color has a broken dusty pattern of brown and gray. It has long tail and has pronounced claws for climbing trees. The adult male have bright blue or green patches on their belly.

One feature that identifies them is their claws which are used for climbing trees. The males and females have different colored markings on their bellies too.

Go on the Internet, use search engine to find pictures of tree lizards, print them, and the next time something crawls up your tree, hold the picture next to it.

A tree lizard is mostly yellowish in color. Its head is large and always raised upwards and moving up and down , which makes it easier to be noticed.
