The theme of the party should be Alice in Wonderland's tea party and each girl comes in a dress. You give out elegant white gloves to each girl and a paper tea cup. Most kids don't like tea so get drinks that they like and have them sit and drink and eat cookies. Then they can play games.

Let the girls choose their outfits from an assortment of dress-up clothes. Serve finger sandwiches cut in birthday shapes and provide each girl with an individual tea cake.

You can make several different kinds of tea and provide tea sandwiches as well. Also, you can specify in the invitations that the kids have the option of dressing up.

Have all the girls come to the party dressed in a pretty dress. Buy a real tea set for the party and have it be part of the gift for your daughter. Play games that you would play at a baby shower or something but with a birthday twist to it.
