Let the teen know that they are safe when they are with you. Make it clear that they can speak honestly to you and that you'll speak honestly with them. If the molestation is still happening, provide them with the resources to get out of the situation.

Letting the teen know that it is in no way their fault is always very important when dealing with touchy subjects like this. Ideally, a professional therapist would be highly recommended, as the deep emotional scars left behind by molestation can bleed over in to all other aspects of life.

If your teen has been molested you have several options. The best one is to get him/her in a support group or a therapy session where they can talk.

There are several things to do starting with professional counseling. In your personal dealings with the teen making sure that you stress that whatever happened was not their fault, but the fault of the person who did the stuff to them.
