How can I go about starting a blueberry plant from a seed?

you can place your bluebarrys on a paper towel in your kitchen and allow them to dry out. then you should beable to extract the seed and then genterlly press them into some wet potting soil and place the pot in a plastic bag put in fridge for 2 months

Get some paper towel. Place several seeds on one half of it. Fold the towel in half wet it and place it in a ziploc bag. Wait for several days.

Put a blueberry on a paper towel in a dry spot indoors. Once it has dried out, extract the seed, place it in damp potting soil. Cover with a plastic bag and keep cold for about two months. remove from cold, wait for after the last frost and plant outside.

Take the blue berries and freeze them for 90 days. Then take the seeds and sow the seeds in rows outdoors as soon as it is 60 to 70ºF, blueberries like a lot of water but make sure the ground is not muddy all the time. The seedlings should start appearing within 4 to 6 weeks.

It is extremly difficult to start any fruit growing plant from a seed. I would reccomend buying a starter plant from a gardening store (one that had already germinated from a seed). You'll be more sucessful.

Well you need a couple of seeds and it would help if you plant some existing blueberry plant roots into the seed as well. That way it will grow faster and stronger.

You will want to sow the seeds in a box containing damp sphagnum moss that is finely ground. Cover your seed with a thin layer of the moss; keep moist.
