If you have a current student visit your wife should qualify for her own visa if you can provide documentation such as a marriage certificate or similar item to prove you are married. Visas aren't guaranteed to spouses but these usually are approved, it is easier if you apply simultaneously.

It will be very difficult for you to get a visa for your wife if neither of you is a US citizen. I recommend that she try to enroll as a student as well because unless you are a U.S. citizen you cannot get a visa for her, she has to get a visa on her own.

Assuming that you are not US citizen and only have a student visa, your wife would have to go through the same process you did to get a student visa or a tourist visa.

Well, it depends where your wife is from. You actually need to apply for a visa from the U.S. government for your wife. She will be able to come down as you are her legal husband. But it also depends on which kind of permit you are on. If you have a landed card, its a different story.
