How can I get a candle wax stain out of my tablecloth?

Red wax ran on the white tablecloth. I got the chunks of wax off, but the color is still in the fabric.

Candle wax can be easily removed using common household items. Lay a clean white towel out on a flat surface. Next, place the stained portion of the tablecloth on top of the towel. Blot the stain with cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol until the stain is completely removed. Blot dry with clean white cloth.

Candle Wax can be lifted if it is reheated! Use an Iron and a paper bag to get the wax hot and it should come right up, if fresh try cold water to break it up on the surface, then heat to get the base.

Scrape of as much as you can with a spoon. Lay a brown paper bag over the stain and iron with a warm (not hot!) iron. Keep repeating this with a clean part of the bag till all the wax is out. Then pretreat the stain and wash like normal. Do not put in dryer till the stain is gone!

You can use detergent or laundry soap and hot water to remove these stains. Pour the detergent on and let soak for five minutes than use hot water to remove.
