Buy a card book such as Becket or call a card shop to see what is best to use and use it. But, you will not get near that amount.

Visit comic book stores and try to buy pricing guides; you can also get these at major book stores. There are websites that you can visit that will give you this information. Some are free and some require subscriptions. You just have to do the research. Rookie cards and one of a kind cards are the most valuable.

Take them to a collectors shop in your area and ask for a price range. You can also search for dealers on the internet and call them. Call a few.

IT all depends on the type of cards you have ,baseball, football. It also has alot to do with condition of the cards and special seriesof those cards. Most people get a good idea of value buy buying card trader books or going to a card shop and discussing it wit the owner he might even make you an offer.
