Once the keyboard is clean, consider getting a plastic cover that fits over the keyboard to keep the keys clean and to prevent dirt, crumbs and dust from falling under them.

Carefully turn the keyboard upside down and shake out what debris you can. Use compressed air to blow out the rest of it. Use cotton swabs dipped in rubbing alcohol to methodically and meticulously clean each key, one by one. Don't get the swab so wet that it drips.

Using a vacuum with a hose attachment will remove the crumbs. I would use a slightly damp rag to clean the keyboard. Don't make it to wet just barely damp or you will ruin the keyboard. If you have a handheld vacuum I would use that as opposed to a large vacuum but the large vacuum will work.

Buy a can of air and it will take out the crumbs and dust. Take a q-tip, put a little alcohol on the tip and work over the keys. Do not soak the q-tip you don't want moisture getting in the machine. This drys fast.

If you use the vacuum cleaner on the keyboard cover the tool with tule or cheese cloth to keep from losing keys that may come off.

If you have an air compressor use it on the keys. Alternatively, you can open the keyboard with a tool and blow with your own breath. You will be surprised how much dirt can get out like this.

The keys can be cleaned with a damp rag. This will remove the dirt, grime, and fingerprints. Make sure the rag is not wet, as you do not want moisture to get underneath the keys. The crumbs and dust can be blown out using canned air.
