You need to provide 200 square feet of space per goat. I highly recommend fencing at least 400 square feet, or as large an area as you can beyond that. Goats are social creatures and don't do well being alone.
I'd say a whole acer. goats need plenty of room to move around and eat. and it also depends on how many goats you have. good luck with your goats by the way.
