Switch your dog's food. Dogs have sensitive stomachs too. If you switch your dog's food for at least a week you should start to see a change in the stools of your dog. If they don't change then it's time to call the vet.

The best thing to do would be changing your dog's diet, and make sure not to feed it any people food. Just like our stomachs, dogs are just as sensitive. Keep a close eye on what they're eating, and if all else fails, take it to the vet.

Put your dog on the BRAT diet. Bananas, rice, apples and toast (dry bread). If this doesn't work he must be seen by a vet to determine if a bacterial infection is to blame and an antibiotic is necessary.

You can give dogs and cats Kaopectate or pepto-bismal for diarrhea. You can not, however, give either any kinds of aspirin or tylenol type products. If diarrhea persists, it can cause dehydration, in which case you can give it gatoraide or pedialyte. If all else fails take your dog to see a vet.

If it smells really bad take him to a vet. He may have Parvo virus. If there is blood in the stool this can end up killing him. It is going to cost a lot. Is the dog lethargic, not eating or drinking any fluids. These are the signs to look for when he has Parvo.

Either you are feeding him something that does not agree with him, or your dog had a medical problem. In either case I would take the dog to the vet and have him check the situation out. This could be a easy fix by buying new food or could be costly.
