There is no scientific evidence that weight lifting causes and elevation specifically in the liver. In fact most bodybuilders must take extracts from proven topical liver agents such as Milk Thistle Extract to maintain a higher amount of liver enzymatic production. This holds true only for the steroidal lifter however, natural lifters have no need for an overactive liver.

Weight lifting raises certain enzyme levels in the blood--so in that sense, slightly. But the most specific enzymes to the liver are not affected by weight lifting--but, weight lifting related drinks like protein can increase your liver enzymes levels.

Weight lifting is known to increase elevation of liver enzymes. This is to be expected, but should not be much of a worry as long as a proper diet and regimen are followed.
