Does the Websters Technique work to move a baby from the breech position?

I've been reading out it. My first baby was breech.

Trying to turn your baby doesn't always work. My daughter was breech and the doctor tried to turn her. However, it failed and I had to have a C-section.

Some people swear by the Webster's Technique specifically because they believe in the talents of chiropractors. Others believe this is another "trick" with little to no results. As long as you are not in distress and feel comfortable in your practitioner's hands then it is worth a try. There is no "yes" or "no" to this, unfortunately.

The Webster's technique, previously called "Webster's In-Utero Constraint Technique," has ben shown to help convert babies in breech position to a safer, more normal position. By performing certain chiropratic maneuvers, the position of the baby can be improved. It is a chiropractic maneuver, not to be confused with an obstetric practice, though.
