Does "limited slip" help your rear drive in the snow?

It's gotten dangerous to drive around here.

Honestly that just seems like a gimmick. Limited slip doesn't really help you just have to drive really slow and brake from time to time. That will help you plenty.

Limited slip tires would effectively increase the traction on all tires, no matter if the problem is snow, rain, high speed, or even ice. Snow chains would also be a good idea, and no matter what you have for tires on your vehicle, cautious driving is the best way to keep yourself safe when driving.
