Muck like radiator stop leak products it DOES work. The drawback is it only leaks for a small period of time. I have seen this stuff work from anywhere from 3 days to a full year. It has the potential ability to work, the big drawback is simply for how long.

If you have a very small leak in your system it can work. It hardens when it comes out of the system and comes in contact with air. If the leak is very big though it will never seal.

Yes for smal leaks. Get the leak seal and detector, if it doesn't seal the leak it will tell you where it is at. Common place is right out the front pulley of the compressor. (Compressor front seal). Soapy water the lines and connections can help locate a leak.
