I think cash is the ultimate gift. You don't have to worry about the person not liking what you got them, it is never the wrong color, and allows them to get what they really want.

It depends on what you are going for in your gift. If you want to give the recipient something practical, appreciated and guarantee its use, cash is the way to go. If you prefer to convey sentiment with your present or keep the value underwraps, don't opt for cash.

Cash is a good gift for most occasions, as it allows the person getting the gift to buy anything they want to and even be flexible to add more money to gift and buy something expensive. This way you gift something which really helps someone and not just anything you thought they would like.

I totally concur! The next best thing is a gift card to a place you know they frequent.
