Many people use lemon but it is not stricly necessary. You can just skip the addition of this acid; just make sure all your work elements are clean and keep your wax fridged!

Wax is beeswax, naturally occuring from the honeycomb or paraffin wax , a petroleum chemical by-product. When making wax, stearin is added to make the candle come out of its mould easily. Stearin is tallow or animal fat. Thus, lemon juice is not necessary unless added as a fragrance.

Of course not. Lemon juice has nothing to do with making wax. Wax is a simple thing to make, but time consuming, but I assure you there is no need for any lemon juice.
