Manganese, a trace mineral, is found in nuts, seeds, leafy green veggies; it also is available in some herbs, including chamomile and peppermint. Certain fruits contain manganese-pineapple, oranges, blueberries-among them. Some trees get manganese toxicity, and each species relates differently to it. Palm trees often have manganese deficiencies and can be fatal if not taken care of properly.

No, it does occur in trees which can have a deficiency. But it is actually mined, it's a metal. It is found in avocado, seaweed, nuts, seeds even some fruits like pineapple.

No, manganese is found in rocks usually in combination with iron. It is produced by a reduction of the ores in which it is found using aluminum.

Maganese is a mineral you need in minute quantities. It can be obtained from the sap of trees in a quantity significant enough to fill your RDI.

Manganese is a trace mineral in the soil. Often different trees like maple need it for proper growth. Usually, when labs do ring samples they can also test for manganese.
